An association of people rooted in celebration of cultural heritage and driven by social purpose, RISE organizes festivals like Durgotsav, Lakshmi Puja, Vaaneevandana and Poila Boishakh, which act as fundraisers for the association’s social drives — community cleaning, plantation and facilitating the underprivileged in collaboration with emminent NGOs.

Durgotsav

Rongbong Durgotsav is a vibrant celebration of devotion, culture, and togetherness. The air hums with the rhythm of dhaak and the fragrance of shiuli phool. From the majestic idol of Ma Durga to the intricately themed decorations, every detail reflects the artistry and passion of the community. Community members unite in joy — sharing bhog, staging shows and reveling in spirited dhunuchi naach that bridges generations. It’s not just a festival — it’s Rongbon’s heartbeat in October.

Saraswati Pujo

Rongbong Vaaneevandana is a serene symphony of learning, purity, and community warmth. Clad in vibrant yellow, children and elders gather with devotion before Goddess Saraswati — seeking blessings for learning, music, and art. The aroma of khichuri bhog wafts through the air, while soft strains of raag and shlokas echo gently in the courtyard. Handcrafted alpana patterns adorn the entrance, and the playful "Hatey khori"- First writing ceremony rituals mark a child's first steps into knowledge. It’s a celebration where tradition meets tenderness — Rongbong's ode to intellect and innocence.

Anandamela

Rongbong Anandamela bursts forth as a carnival of joy, flavors, and community spirit. The grounds come alive with vibrant stalls brimming with homemade delicacies, handcrafted art, and childhood nostalgia. From spicy foods to artistic expression tevery corner tells a tale of passion and participation. Children showcase talent on stage while elders relive traditions, weaving together laughter, taste, and cultural pride. It’s not just a fair — it’s a day when Rongbong pulses with pure happiness.

🌱Members of RISE conduct regular neighborhood cleaning drives, consistently bringing the community together to promote hygiene, civic pride, and environmental responsibility. These ongoing efforts not only keep public spaces clean but also foster a shared culture of care and collective action.

🌿Rongbong, in collaboration with Karunya Trust, recently led a meaningful plantation drive in a local village, choosing fruit-bearing trees to support both nature and nourishment. The initiative aimed to provide long-term benefits to the villagers, ensuring access to fresh produce while enhancing the village’s green cover.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑Rongbong’s collaboration with Kshamata marks a thoughtful step toward inclusive empowerment. Through this association, Rongbong contributes to Kshamata’s mission of creating dignified livelihood opportunities for marginalized women, supporting skill-building workshops and eco-friendly initiatives.

By supporting Signal Shala’s pioneering efforts to educate children of traffic signal dwellers, Rongbong helps bridge the gap between street life and scholastic opportunity. RISE & Adhar Trust: Empowering Through Inclusion RISE is proud to partner with Adhar Trust, an organization devoted to uplifting individuals with physical challenges. Adhar Trust provides critical support including mobility assistance, vocational training, and community rehabilitation—building bridges to independence and self-worth. Through this alliance, RISE reinforces the belief that true progress includes everyone, and together, we foster a society that values ability, dignity, and equal opportunity.

🎗️Blood Donation Camp

🎗️ RISE’s heartfelt association with Tata Memorial Hospital for a recent donation camp highlighted its ongoing commitment to health equity and community support. The camp encouraged individuals to contribute blood, essentials, and financial aid for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
